You’ve seen it before—someone who’s perfect for your offer keeps clicking on the emails and engaging with the posts, but they’re still not buying. It might be your website that’s the culprit.
Your website needs to appeal to ALL of the four different types—BUT good news it’s easier than you think
In this blog, I’m going over the four different buying types and how to add features to your website that will help make each one confident in their purchase.
The Four Buying Types
The Game Planner
The Game Planner is the type of buyer that needs to see the roadmap ahead of whatever your offer is. What’s the strategy that’s going to take them from X to Y? What steps are included? The Game Planner is more focused on deliverables than the average buyer because they have a higher scam-rader and care less about reviews than most.
Website features for The Game Planner:
- Easy-to-understand product and service descriptions—with full details of what’s included
- Overall quick to skim design
- No fluff
- Fast navigation to see quickly if it’s a good fit or not
- Pricing VERY early on a website page for an offer
The Data Nerd
The Data Nerd loves data. Obviously. And they want to see it on your website on your website. What are the stats of how many people you’ve helped? Do you have credentials to back up what you’re saying? The Data Nerd also has a high scam-radar.
Website features for The Data Nerd:
- Reviews and testimonials
- Stats on how many people you’ve served
- Badges of proof for your credentials to prove your expertise
- Receipts that show the REAL value of what’s included in your offer
The Social Butterfly
The Social Butterfly is like the name implies—social. This type of buyer wants to see WHO they’re buying from more than what they’re buying. They also love reviews the most out of all the buyers—they want to know that your offer has worked for someone else before they can decide if it will work for them.
Website features for The Social Butterfly:
- Photos of you and your dog and your husband and your best friend
- A sense of community in your offer
- More personal #funfact snippets so they feel like they’re your BFF
The Big Dreamer
The Big Dreamer wants to know if you can help them reach their five-year plan. They might not need all the details of how they can get there and reach their goals—but they wanna know if at the end of the finish line if they’ll be standing where they want or not.
Website features for The Big Dreamer:
- A timeline of where they’ll be if they work with you—aka. the before and after transformation
- A clear explanation of what they’ll get from the offer in 1-2-3 steps
- Photos that show past clients doing what they want to achieve
